You Decide the Destination

To call the Trek Stache 5 “just another mountain bike” would be doing it a great disservice, as this thing was truly meant to tackle so much more than your standard bike. With oversized three-inch 29er tires, it’s ready to tackle just about anything you can throw at it. From slick city streets to snowy gravel paths, it stands ready and able to show it’s full capabilities as a compact, affordable hardtail go-to rig.

So go ahead and take it out when the weather is at its worst - the Stache’s grippy, full surface rubber will stick you to the ground like velcro. Then, when the sun comes out again, it’ll be fully ready to show you its lively side and rip around on its short chainstays and capable front suspension. You can even swap the wheels and tires out for any number of combinations to get your riding style and rolling resistance dialed in just right. The frame is meant to accommodate boost style hubs in 29+/27.5+ as well as standard 29”/27.5” tires and wheels.

Just take a peek at any of the mountain bike review sites out there and you’ll see they all agree on the Stache - this bike is loads of fun and capable of tackling the greatest urban and suburban challenges.
