Comments:
I had been researching this bike for a while and found one at the Scarsdale store. I test rode it and fell in love. The staff were patient and accommodating and answered all my folding bike questions. I had been looking for a good commuting bike in the city that I can also take on the train. It was also important that the bike be extremely minimalist with no chance of multiple parts that could break while I peddle to work. The flat black makes this bike look tough (and it is tough). It rides great on NYC streets. I was amazed how quick this bike launches off the line. It is much faster than you would anticipate. I immediately updated the saddle as the original was too wide for me. I also went back a few months later and had a 14t rear gear put on. The 17t it came with tops out too soon making it feel like you are spinning madly. I eventually added bullhorn bars to it for a more aggressive ride stance. It already turned quick, I just wanted something more personal to me. Using the coaster brakes took a little getting used to but there is no reason to add a brake cable. Overall a fun bike to ride that is easy to maintain and can take a beating.
